Late Breaking / Demo
The Late-Breaking/Demo (LBD) Session is dedicated to the presentation of preliminary results, ideas, applications or system prototypes that are not yet fully formed nor systematically evaluated, but are of interest to the MIR community. At the session, presenters will display posters and give demos of new research and products. This year, the LBD session is open to the public starting at 1:30pm. If you are not a regular ISMIR attendee, this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the sort of research presented at the conference. ISMIR registrants do not need to sign up separately; if you are not registered for ISMIR and would like to attend, sign up here the LBD session has passed. The event will be was held on August 11th on the 8th floor of NYU Magnet, 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
Participants are encouraged to submit extended abstracts (up to two pages, not including references) which will undergo a light, open peer-review process. All accepted abstracts are required to be presented as a poster during the LBD Session on the final day of ISMIR 2016. This year, the LBD session will be open the public, so we particularly encourage work which is of interest to a broad audience. Submissions will be accepted from May 14th until August 10th.
